When he told me about it I thought he meant figuratively until it started raining right when he predicted it would and looked straight at me.

[She gives something between a laugh and a sigh.] Sorry, I know that came out of nowhere. It was just nagging at me. I thought maybe you told her about it too so it wouldn't be a surprise if I asked.

I did tell her about that, a very long time ago. It's rather reassuring that he told you about it, too.
