May's friend, Charlie. She's been following me around the past few weeks, and last night she -- well, she caught me.

[Beat.] Go ahead, you can laugh.

It's not a laughing matter.

What do you think she'll do now?

Well, she said she'd keep it quiet, natch, and there's the ... there's Dr. Strange's little trick to fall back on. Hopefully it won't be an issue -- I mean, she must be May's friend for a reason, right? And in a weird way the fact we barely know each other is a good thing -- it'll help keep her safe. Er. [He sounds like he's trying to reassure himself more than anything.]

So it boils down to whether or not you can trust her. [A pause.] She's been May's friend for a couple of years now, though I can't say I've met her. Who does she hang around with? Anyone I'd know?

Not that I know of -- no, wait, she's friends with Cass. Reilly's girlfriend, the one who got 'ported out.

If Charlie is connected to them, I would assume your secret is safe.

Erm. You know some of the kids are staying with me right now ... it's a MAC single, so it's a little cramped. Anyway, doesn't seem like any of them want to leave anytime soon, so we're apartment hunting. More like townhouse hunting, I guess.

I think Natasha may know a good real estate agent.

Anyway, I know you probably don't want the kids in your hair even more than they already are ... but we are looking for a place where everyone can have their own space, and if you ever feel like getting out of Natasha's 'do, you'd be welcome.
